For organizations

MS education, content review and consulting

I’m a licensed physical therapist with a clinical focus in MS and neurological rehabilitation, and I personally live with MS. I offer clinical content review, patient education, consulting and content creation for organizations, bringing clinical knowledge and one person’s lived experience to the work.

Regular email is not a secure place to send private medical or health information.

Who this is for

The work is MS-first. Related neurological-rehabilitation and accessibility projects are welcome when they fit.

  • Pharmaceutical MS patient-education and support teams

Teams creating education, support programs, or resources for people living with MS.

  • Healthcare and medical-communications agencies

Agencies developing MS or neurology content who want clinical and lived-experience input alongside their own review.

  • Digital-health and product teams

Teams building apps, platforms, or tools that people with MS are expected to use day to day.

Ways to work together

The consulting engagements described here are paid. Fees, scope, and timing are agreed directly before work begins.

  • A smaller first step

    Focused review

A paid review of existing educational materials, content, or a digital experience, looked at through both a clinical and a lived-experience lens.

    Possible outputs

    • Annotated review
    • Prioritized observations and recommendations
    • A follow-up discussion
  • Larger, scoped work

    Consulting project

Deeper work on patient education, program or content development, or accessibility and patient-experience questions, scoped around your goals.

    Possible outputs

    • A scoped work plan
    • Ongoing input as content or a product develops
    • Working sessions with your team
  • Another agreed format

    Education workshop

MS education for your team: what MS can involve, why it varies so much from person to person, and what that can mean for your work.

    Possible outputs

    • Live discussion or workshop
    • Questions answered in context
  • Prospective collaborations

    Educational content and partnerships

Educational videos, plain-language resources and content collaborations for healthcare and selected movement, active-living or travel brands. Scope, audience, review requirements and fees are agreed before work begins.

    Possible outputs

    • Educational videos
    • Plain-language resources
    • Content collaborations

Outputs are options we choose together for each project, not fixed packages. A focused review can be a sensible first step: it shows how I work and where the biggest opportunities are. It is not required before a larger project.

Questions this work can help with

Illustrative examples only. They are not case studies or past client work.

  • Is this patient-education piece written in plain language someone newly diagnosed can follow?
  • Would this app flow still work on a high-fatigue day, or for someone with limited hand function or vision changes?
  • Are mobility, fatigue, and heat sensitivity treated as real design inputs, not afterthoughts?
  • Does this program reflect how varied daily life with MS can be?

Background and how I work

  • Licensed physical therapist
  • Clinical focus in MS and neurological rehabilitation
  • Master’s in physical therapy and a bachelor’s degree in nutrition
  • Personally living with MS

I give direct, practical observations and explain the reasoning behind them. My lived experience is one person’s experience. It does not represent everyone with MS, and I say so when it matters.

Organization work is educational and advisory. It is not physical therapy or medical care for individuals, clinical research validation, legal advice, regulatory approval, or ADA or accessibility certification. Your organization’s own medical, legal, and regulatory review remains necessary. I don’t promise specific business, adherence, health, or regulatory outcomes.

How this connects to Mind Over Nerves

Paid organization consulting is offered through Mahad MS PT. Mind Over Nerves is a separate, free education and resource effort that I also founded.

A printable appointment worksheet is available now. A broader library, general exercise education, and community are in development. Hiring me for consulting does not give an organization an endorsement from Mind Over Nerves or access to patient information.

My aim is for paid consulting work to help sustain free MS education through Mind Over Nerves.

About Mind Over Nerves

Start a business inquiry

Email or call. A short note covering these points is plenty:

  • Your organization
  • The project or business goal
  • Who the audience is
  • The type of material or product, and its stage
  • Rough timing
  • The scope you have in mind

Please share business details only. Don’t send attachments, confidential material, employee or patient cases, or anyone’s health information by email. We’ll agree on scope, fees, and timing directly before any work begins.
