Where I see people.

I'm completely mobile, so I come to you. If you're in Northern Virginia, reach out.

  • Alexandria
  • Arlington
  • Fairfax
  • Burke
  • Lorton
  • Plus nearby Northern Virginia areas. Not sure if I come to you? Just ask.

What physical therapy may focus on.

Every plan is individual. These are common areas of work, not promised outcomes.

  • Walking and gait

Work toward a steadier, more confident walking pattern in the places you actually go.

  • Foot drop and leg weakness

Targeted strength and control work for safer steps.

  • Balance and falls

Practical balance training and fall-prevention strategies for everyday life.

  • Spasticity and stiffness

Movement strategies that work with tone and stiffness, not against them.

  • Fatigue and heat sensitivity

Pacing approaches shaped around your energy and how your body handles heat.

  • Returning to activity

Build back toward the exercise and activities that matter most to you.

What to expect

  • 60-minute initial evaluation
  • 60-minute follow-up visits
  • Original Medicare enrollment in progress
  • One-on-one care, in your home
  • No clinic, no waiting room

Care is built around your symptoms, goals, environment, and daily life, not a generic exercise protocol. Many people start here and keep moving forward from a stronger place.

MS is my specialty — but you don't need an MS diagnosis to work with me. I treat a range of conditions.

Common questions

Do you come to my home?

Yes. I'm completely mobile, so I come to you. I see people in Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, and surrounding areas.

Do you offer physical therapy that comes to me?

That's the whole model: one-on-one MS physical therapy delivered in your home anywhere in Northern Virginia, including Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Burke, and Lorton. No clinic trip needed.

What areas do you serve?

I see people throughout Northern Virginia, including Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Burke, Lorton, and nearby areas. If you're not sure whether I come to your area, just reach out and ask.

What happens during the first visit?

The first visit is a full 60-minute evaluation. We'll talk about your MS, your symptoms, what you're having trouble with, and what you want to improve. I'll also assess things like walking, strength, balance, mobility, and how your symptoms are affecting you day to day. We'll discuss payment options during your consultation, including Original Medicare (once enrollment is active) or private-pay options when appropriate.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

A referral from an authorized healthcare provider is required before physical therapy treatment begins. You may request a consultation before obtaining the referral, and Mahad will explain the next step.
